The story of Adam begins in late 2006, when four utterly different people joined together in one band. The band consists of experienced musicians to whom writing, recording, performing and such is no mystery, since they've all been working with numerous most noticed names in Slovenia's music scene and history. The signatures of the members can be seen in all parts of the process along with artists such as: Gušti in Polona, Big foot mama, Laibach, Dan D, Tinkara Kovac, Srecna mladina, Anavrin, Tide, Jadranka Juras, Tomaž Domicelj, Andraž Hribar, Alya,...

Immediately after forming, Adam started working on original material that now consists of skillful fresh songs with strong drum basis of Gregor Jakac, solid bass lines of Anej Kocevar, imaginative guitars of Peter Dekleva and emotional vocals of Damir Lisica - Dado.
Their music was best described as a mixture of brit pop's poetric melody, post-modern american organic rock with a nonchalant european attitude. The lyrics on the other hand describe a modern man's position in a world he lives in, through firm emotional statements and fictional reality, he himself creates.

In early 2007 they were asked to record a particular song by their friend – a music video director - that would later become their close collaborator, Urban Pekle, who shot a charismatic video promo, that came across to a huge success ruling literally all country's TV charts (not excluding the MTV Adria's top chart) where placed.

The song “Odnosi med srecnimi” was also (almost unexpectedly) well accepted as well by the media and the critics as the public itself. Having a good airplay rotation it is now one of the most recognizable tunes of the year.

Adam je skupina štirih glasbenikov, katerih skupni cilj je rojstvo novega glasbenega telesa pod istim imenom. Skupino sestavljajo Gregor Jakac (bobni), Anej Kocevar (bas), Peter Dekleva (kitara) in Damir Lisica - Dado (vokal). Do sedaj so si nabirali izkušnje tudi s sodelovanji s kopico priznanih imen na vseh podrocjih glasbene produkcije, kot so: Gušti in Polona, Big foot mama, Laibach, Dan D, Tinkara Kovac, Srecna mladina, Anavrin, Tide, Jadranka Juras, Tomaž Domicelj, Andraž Hribar, Alya,...

Junija 2007 so v lastni produkciji posneli skladbo “Odnosi med srecnimi”, za katerega je Urban Pekle izdelal videospot. Skladba kasneje naleti na presenetljivo topel sprejem tako pri kritikih, saj je postala že kar železen repertoar na razlicnih radijskih postajah po Sloveniji, kot pri poslušalcih in gledalcih, ko so »Odnosi med srecnimi« postali popevka tedna na Valu 202, zasedli prvo mesto na Slovestvici (Carli TV) in se uvrstili med najboljših 5 videospotov na MTV Adria Top 20 lestvici.

Adam ustvarjajo avtorsko glasbo, pri kateri gre za inovativni pristop k ustaljenim rock obrazcem po glasbeni strani in rahlo spogledovanje pop lirike s poeticnimi parolami v besedilih. Adam se trenutno pripravljajo na snemanje prvenca...
