Great songwriters/performers like Ronnie Van Zant, (pre-crash Skynyrd), Billy Joe Shaver, Steve Earl, The Eagles, Delbert McClinton, JJ Cale, John Prine. And did Bad Co.,CCR , or Bob Segar ever put out a bad song? good guitar Blues and Southern Rock influenced me most. ..

"It's just like Ronnie Van Zant sang in Whiskey Rock and Roller...I don't care for fancy music.....if your shoes can't shuffle around."

I'M HERE TO PROMOTE MY MUSIC AMONG PEOPLE LIKE ME. THEY ARE FELLOW BIKERS, MUSICIANS, AND PEOPLE THAT DIG GOOD HONEST ROCK N ROLL, BLUES, AND CUTTING EDGE COUNTRY. I'M NOT HERE TO IMPLY ANYTHING SEXUAL AND IF MY FRIEND REQUEST OFFENDS YOU, PLEASE BE SURE TO BLOCK ME SO I CAN'T ASK AGAIN.
Grover Windham cut his teeth on the Nashville concrete, becoming a regular at Songwriter's Nights all over Music City. After several trips to The Blue Bird Café, Tootsies Lounge, and The Broken Spoke, the reality of Music City became painfully obvious. Choosing not to write, sing, and look like everyone else in Nashville, but with valuable songwriting experience in tow, Grover returned home to South Carolina, to pursue his first love Southern Rock and Blues.
Grover teamed with musician/guitarist/co-writer Willie Curr, along with Jim Watson on bass guitar, and Chris Atkinson on drums, to release his debut CD Nowhere To Run, to critical acclaim. It also garnered him the Artistic Trailblazer of the Year Award, presented to him by Airplay International
Rhonda Lee of Kentucky Dreaming Magazine said that "Windham's Nowhere To Runjust proves you have to go underground to find the best music today'.
Scott Greene of Hot Grits Online, called it "Southern Blues at it's basic best".
Linda Fryar of BMI, invites "Windham to come on out, because the world is ready for your music".
Tim Houser of Five O'clock Friday Magazine, says "Windham writes and sings about the salt of the earth and themes of the common working man weave through his material".
Grover himself says "he's heard lots of comparisons". I've heard everything from John Mellancamp, Bob Seger, to Hank Williams Jr", but says he'll "just keep writing what he feels and release music on his own terms". Playing live for the people is where my heart is now".
"Maybe some Winter, when things slow down a little, I'll get that second record done. Good songs with some great musicians/co-writers, like Willie Curr, Audi Harrelson,Juan Valdes,Jim Watson, and Jay Harris have already been written for it".
