Stuff We Need: ........
Hey everyone, we are are starting to gather up materials for the upcoming party. Right now we're looking for:
Scrap wood for planter boxes, organic compost/potting mix, $ for plants, pots, big containers, donations of veggies and fruit trees, anything else?
We could also use connections to get plants at wholesale.
We're also looking for bands to play the event or any other sort of live act, (dj's?). If you're stoked on anything in particular - video/photography, cooking up a gourmet meal (we'll provide the ingredients). Let's get creative!
Thanks to everyone who's been putting themselves out there and just giving us amazing ideas and leads so far. Especially those of you who are just sayin' - put me to work! This whole thing is as ripe as a local kiwi! Love ya!

During the summer VanHecke made $100 per week from her minifarm.
"We'd like to double that [this summer]," said VanHecke, who plants, tills and waters her garden no more than 10 hours a week.
It's only the beginning of the growing season, but VanHecke already has tomatoes, beets, chard, radishes and lettuce in every spare nook and cranny of her yard, which she sells to a local restaurant...
