John Gallen has spent over 25 years in the music industry. Throughout his career John has handled a freelance career recording, mixing and producing for artists including Queen, Simply Red, George Benson, Aswad, Rick Astley, Boy George, Billy Ocean, Motorhead, Incognito and The Damned to name a few. Today, John continues to keep his hand in on selected recording projects when time allows and is the first choice recording engineer for some of the UK’s top musicians.

The Republic of Croatia is located in southeastern Europe, with a long coastline on the Adriatic Sea to the South, and borders with Slovenia and Hungary to the North, and Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina to the East. Groznjan is an old historic artist village situated in the Northwest region of Croatia, 10 miles from the beautiful Adriatic Coast with a 15 minute drive from Slovenia and half an hour from Italy.

What: A leading Drum & Percussion Summer Camp in Southeastern Europe, East Meets West offers the percussion student a week of intensive master classes, drum clinics, concert performances, seminars, round table-discussions and much more…
Participants: Drummers and percussionists of all ages and experience levels are welcome. Drum/Percussion enthusiasts are also welcome, (passive attendance registration required). There will be limited enrollment of 30-50 students.
Registration: Regular registration begins March 4th 2009
Enrollment is limited, available on a first come-first served basis.
