What happens when Bordeaux-based young musicians listen to their
favourite post-punk records all night long and think this is not
enough? Not powerful enough. Not sexy enough. Not dark enough.
They gather in a basement to create the apocalyptic sound that sums
up the 21 st century generation: kids who want to dance, hug, fight,
sweat, get high and eventually join the band on stage. In this GRS CLUB,
explosive drumming brings the bass and keyboards into an irresistible
exotic transe, controlled by the haunted singer's cutting-edge guitars.
Hot Chip, LCD Sounsystem and Friendly Fires have secret French cousins
whose afro-beat twist may not leave the listener cold.

Quand ils ne sont pas enfermés dans leur laboratoire clandestin bordelais
à concocter le son electro-rock de leur génération, les GRS Club passent
leurs nuits à danser sur du post-punk : dans ce GRS Club, la batterie explosive
entraîne la basse et le clavier dans une transe exotique irrésistible, guidée
par les guitares acérées d'un chanteur habité. Hot Chip, LCD Soundsystem
et Friendly Fires ne savent pas encore qu'ils ont des cousins français
dont la touche afro-beat ne devrait pas laisser les auditeurs de marbre.
For the past 3 seasons, the French clothing brand KULTE as been working in collaboration with a young parisian director (Gregoire Pierre), on seasonnal video clips made out of their t-shirt collections….After Let’s Dance….Beach Party, the third episod called “The Final day”, is now ready for your eyes….Each logo presented in this video is physically available upon Fall09 KULTE tshirts. The project was made in collaboration with graphic designers such as: Dirtlab, Freakfabric, Happymess Original soundtrack by AVIA
