see, in school we were the loners; the rebels. but now we're just analog kids in a digital world, lost and confused. myspace 'acceptance' gives us the appropriate digital 'pep' to keep going on.
You all were one of my absolute favorite bands to emerge from the whole Seattle scene & I'm so blessed to have seen ya live when I did"back in the day".Skin Yard was nothing to sneeze at either but GRUNTRUCK just really appealed to me for whatever reasons.Thank you and..
Travis is officially leaving Kill Closet but has agreed to finish playing our current bookings. If we find someone who can get a set down quickly they can take over doing shows as soon as they are ready. We have some people in mind but are accepting open auditions for anyone interested. You must be a double bass monster with excellent stamina, a pro attitude (no heading to the stage drunk, arrogance or negative energy etc...) & be ready to have as much fun as humanly possible. Anyone interested message us on our myspace, if you know anyone who would be interested please pass this info along & we will be eternally greatful. Thanks, Char & Kill Closet.
I went to a Gruntruck show in the early 90's that so ruled. It was a real thrill for me when Ben asked the audience for a request and I shouted out "Crucifunkin," he nodded and the band played it and it frikken rocked!
Respect to the Seattle bands that got the attention at that time but Gruntruck definitely deserved similar acknowledgment. I suppose for some of us it will just be our little secret and that's cool too. Thanks for accepting my friends request!
