Luego de 9 años de musica, Q69K ha tenido varios cambios de Miembros y estilos de punk, Actualmente Q69k esta formado por un Nica, un Tico y un Gringo. Erwin Costa en el bajo y Vocales, Rodrigo "Sunny Distha" En la bateria y coros y Jason Thompson en la Guitarra y vocales. Durante estos años la banda ha podido llevar su musica por toda Nicaragua, Costa Rica y Panama y los planes cercanos es ir de gira por Toda LATINO AMERICA. Q69K se ha dado su lugar en la escena de Rock Nicaraguense, colocandose de manera fuerte y bien marcada con "LA PELOTA" y tocar y practicar diario ha vuelto a este TRIO de Punkeros en un solo nucleo y en un grupo de jovenes dedicados fuertemente a sus creencias.
En mayo del 2005 Q69K formo parte del festival internacional HOPEFEST en Costa Rica tocando con Evergree Terrace y muchas bandas ticas. En febrero del 2006, Q69K abrio para la legendaria banda Strung OUT!!!. En el 2007 la banda toco junto a los Mexicanos Panda aqui en Niacaragua. Luego en el 2008 la banda crecio mucho a nivel nacional siendo HEADLINERS en muchisimos shows de PEPSI. Solo en el 2008 algunos de los mejores shows fueron con Allison, Motel, Alejandra Guzman de Mexico Comeback Kid, GraveMaker de USA, y Rabanes de Panama.
2009 Ha sido un año dificil, pero nos hemos mantenido unidos, y al fin tenemos nuestro primer disco "Esclavos de la Aceleracion"

After several changes in styles of punk and members in the beginning of the bands history, Q69K, as we know it today, nine years later, is formed by A Nica (Nicaragua), a Tico (Costa Rica) and a gringo (USA). Erwin Costa on the bass and vocals, Rodrigo "Sunny Distha" on drums and vocals, and Jason Thompson on guitar and vocals. During these 9 years, Q69K has managed to tour all over Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Panama with plans to soon visit all Latin America. Having their ups and downs with gigs, recordings and internal problems, Q69K has managed to stay strong and find their own circle "LA PELOTA" in Nicaragua..s rock scene and playing everyday has transformed the band into a group of individuals that are dedicated and strong in their beliefs.
In may 2006 Q69K was part of the International guests in HopeFest Costa Rica. Also in February of 2006, Q69K opened for the legendary band Strung Out. In 2007 the band played with Panda. Then in 2008 in Nicaragua the band grew incredibly playing and headlining alot of Nicaraguan shows. Just in 2008 alone some of the bigger acts were Allison, Motel, Alejandra Guzman, Comeback Kid, GraveMaker, etc
2009 was a hard year for the band, but we finally made it through all the problems! and here we are! we have our CD "Esclavos de la Aceleracion" and we are together as one"
Q69Ks music has evolved due to the musical preferences of its actual members, Jason listens to a lot of hardcore and melodic punk. Erwin Costa listens to a lot of melodic punk, roots, reggae and ska music. "Sunny" is a Sound Engineer who lived a lot of years in Europe and he brings another vision and sound to the band. With this mixture of genres, Q69Ks music has a great blend of mixtures that doesnt get stuck on one sound, kind of like a good cup of coffee... with some scotch in it!

Pos como que quien es el baron mostaza?? pos semos nosotros. Nos escapamos de la ranchería para hacer la musica que nos gusta y que nuestro apá no nos dejaba hacer. El dice que el rock es el diablo y nosotros pos no nos importa que diosito nos castigue. Semos nomas tres, uno se llama Cesar, al otro le dicen el chacho por que es que lava la ropa y los trastes y al otro le dicen el Charles MOstaza pero la neta se llama atari.
