Grupo Rush-We On Fire!

Grupo Rush represents the Bachata sound of the new millennium. Its four talented young members, all with Latin roots and North American and European influences, have a deep knowledge and understanding of this new urban concept which they reveal, day after day, in their original songs and musical arrangements. Their unique musical quality and refined style allowed them to achieve position 7 on the Billboard’s Latin Tropical Chart with their first promotional song entitled "Jasmine." This let them occupy top radio play ranks not only in the U.S. but also but also in Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic and Europe.

Before becoming Grupo Rush, its members were part of another major band with which they had the opportunity to perform and record with the well known Merengue performer Miriam Cruz a Bachata duet.

Gathered as Grupo Rush, with a more sophisticated and distinct style, they have shared the stage with great artists and have participated in the most important festivals of the world in the genre, including the Festival of Merengue in Dominican Republic, Festival of Colombia, Dominican Independence Festival in Puerto Rico and Festival de la Calle 8 in Miami, among others.

Grupo Rush has left an unmistakable mark between the ears and the hearts of its audience, so when they hear the word "Rush" they find it difficult not to immediately recall the new musical style that has managed to put harmonious sound and feeling to the stories experienced by the young members of this group.

We are more than confident that their new release WE ON FIRE! will exceed all expectations, breaking with the traditional genre. WE ON FIRE! recorded under the label J & N Records offers a highly successful blend of Bachata, R & B and Reggaeton. The release contains 11 songs, including”Cada Día Que Pasa,” Grupo Rush’s new promotional song, and "Jasmine", which is presented in two versions, English and Spanish. Videos of the two songs are promotionally available.

Songs, facts, realities, and stories of the day to day expressed this way, ensures them to break barriers of all kinds, whether of race, age, nationality or culture. Radio, TV, clubs, and, of course, their fans hope for continued success together.

Migz (singer/composer) born on July 25 in Brooklyn, New York; of Puerto Rican mother and Dominican father; "Just Merengue, Salsa and Bachata run through his veins."

Damien (Group Leader/Musical Producer), born on April 24, in Samaná, Dominican Republic; of Puerto Rican father and Dominican mother; is now the innovator and creator of the new concept of Grupo Rush.

Khriz (Singer), born September 13 in La Romana, Dominican Republic; of Dominican parents; lived in Santo Domingo until he was 14 years, since then he has resided in Puerto Rico.

Grupo Rush, representa el sonido de la bachata del nuevo milenio. Estos talentosos jóvenes, con raíces latinas e influencias norteamericanas y europeas, son conocedores cabales de este nuevo concepto urbano, algo que demuestran día a día en sus canciones y arreglos musicales compuestos por ellos mismos. Su gran calidad musical y su estilo refinado les permitió alcanzar la posición 7 en el Latín Tropical Billboard’s Chart con su primer corte promocional titulado “Jasmine” haciendo que actualmente ocupen los primeros lugares radiales no sólo en EE.UU., sino también en Puerto Rico, República Dominicana y el continente europeo.

Grupo Rush no es un grupo improvisado, sus integrantes vienen de ser miembros de otro grupo musical importante con el que tuvieron la oportunidad de interpretar y grabar a dúo con la conocida intérprete de Merengue Miriam Cruz un famoso tema en género Bachata.

Reunidos ahora Grupo Rush y con un estilo propio y muy definido, han tenido la oportunidad de actuar en diversos escenarios compartiendo tarima con grandes artistas. Han sido partícipes de los festivales más importantes del mundo en el género, incluyendo el Festival del Merengue en República Dominicana, el Festival de Colombia, el Festival Independencia Dominicana en Puerto Rico y el Festival de la Calle 8 en Miami, entre otros.

Migz (cantante/compositor) nacido un 25 de julio, en Brooklyn, Nueva York, de padre dominicano y madre puertorriqueña, en él "Simplemente el Merengue, la Salsa y Bachata le corren por sus venas".

Damián (Leader del grupo/Productor Musical), nacido un 24 de abril, en Samaná, República Dominicana, de padre puertorriqueño y madre dominicana, es ahora el innovador y creador del nuevo concepto de Grupo Rush.

Khriz (Cantante) nacido un 13 de septiembre en La Romana, República Dominicana, de padres dominicanos, vivió en Santo Domingo hasta los 14 años y desde entonces radica en Puerto Rico.
