About me: My name is Gavyn Sky Lyons. I sign my paintings with my middle name because it is, in so many ways, the heart of me. I am a single father of 2 wonderful children. I was born in the Ozarks but lived most of my childhood in West Texas. I finally moved back to the area I love for good in 2001. I have always been interested in art but it wasn’t until the birth of my son 6 years ago that the long lived desire to paint had surfaced into constant dreams filled with visions of paintings not yet created. I started my dream while living in a old trailer with broken windows and faded siding. I delivered pizzas and relied on tips to buy my supplies. Now I see opportunities everywhere, not just in creating art but working in business and living in life! Everyday is a new opportunity to express yourself and live your dreams! Painting for me is a necessity. Without it I don't feel like myself. I try my best to create entire worlds on canvas. Worlds that captivate viewers with increadable colors and intense textures. I want people to get completely lost then completely found. That is an artistic experience you wont soon forget. I also love marketing and manage the Blue Moon Art Project for South West Distributing and Miller/Coors in Springfield. I am very grateful to be a part of that team.
