About me: Even though I don't like the modern connotations of the term, if I lived in ancient times I would probably have liked to have been a "philosopher" ... someone who pursues knowledge for the sake of the pursuit. I have a variety of interests, but generally I just like learning about everything. I enjoy meeting new people, especially those with different backgrounds than mine. I prefer substance over appearance, intellectual curiosity over academic apathy, and experiencing things over owning things.
