BIOGRAPHY: I am the founder of the Baltimore,MD/ York, PA-USA based progressive metal band, IMAGES OF EDEN.

I have been into music all of my life...even before becoming a musician. By age 5, I was already listening to Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Kiss and many other classic rock bands regularly. I picked up my first guitar at age 13 and practiced for no less than 3 hours a night. In college I decided to take formal vocal lessons because I didn't want to restrict myself to being just a guitarist. This diversity prompted me to learn how to play the other instruments that comprised a rock band (drums, bass guitar, keyboards). Little did I know that this would later come in handy!

I had been in and out of bands over the years but never really found anyone who was at the same level of experience or shared my same musical dream and direction. I always had my own distinct vision with plans on one day bringing it to life but I always seemed to run into obstacles along the way... I had dealt with non-motivated band members and/or "dictators", inexperienced musicians, and conflicts with the other writers in various bands.

Finally, after negatively parting ways in 1998 with a band called Out Of Nowhere, I was at my limit with dealing with incompetence so I decided that it was time to bring my vision to life without having it diluted or compromised. In September 1999, I went into the studio with a session drummer to record the debut IMAGES OF EDEN CD (CHAPTER I). My goal was to fully produce a CD with my own original material playing all of the instruments myself (except drums) as well as design the artwork. The final product would then be used to carefully select musicians to complete the full-time lineup. This was the birth of my band "IMAGES OF EDEN" and only the beginning...

Now, we (IMAGES OF EDEN) are in the process of recording our 3rd CD, "REBUILDING THE RUINS", to be released later in 2009. For more info, as well as clips from our 2nd CD "SUNLIGHT OF THE SPIRIT" (available on Nightmare Records), check out our website, www.imagesofeden.com.

---- MY OTHER PROJECTS (past & present) ----

***JUST ANNOUNCED 4/1/09***- "AIRS" (A Rock Opera by George Andrade & Steve Brockmann)- I will be appearing as the main character, "Owen", alonside other German/ Dutch vocalists in a full length rock opera. The concept/ story was written by MA, USA- based author George Andrade and the music by German guitar-virtuoso/ multi-instrumentalist, Steve Brockmann. Vocal recording should begin in July/ August, 2009 for a 2010 release.

DREAD THE FORSAKEN- In Nov, 2008, I had the amazing experience of travelling to Guatemala to do vocals for the debut Demo CD, "Unbound" (produced by Eduardo Santella). DTF was founded by El Salvador-born metal guitarist/ songwriter, Mauricio Liborio. The plans are to return with Images of Eden in December, 2009 to play the annual "Garra Chapina" festival, then a short Central American tour (Guatemala/ El Salvador) with Dread The Forsaken. Stay tuned....

SHADOW OF CREATION- I just finished doing vocals on "Wounds of Time' for this Savannah, GA USA- based power metal band. The song will be featured on a 2009 compilation that will be in main chain retailers. More info to follow. Also, for details, check out the SoC MySpace page.

MACHINE'S FALL- I will be collaborating with guitarist, Carlos Urquidi, to do lead vocals for the Tijuana, Mexico-based progressive/power-metal band Machine's Fall. Recording has already begun in Mexico but will not be complete until later this year for a 2010 release. More info to follow...

GALEXIA- I will be appearing on the 2009 self-titled release of "Galexia" (Industrial/ Experimental Metal from Connecticut, USA). The CD will also feature Dutch mastermind, Arjen A. Lucassen (Ayreon, Stream of Passion, etc.) as well as Damian Wilson (ex-Threshold vocalist) among many others. I'll be featured on the tracks, "Paroxysm Throe" and "Satellite". Check out the Galexia page for more info...

SEVENTH SON (Iron Maiden Tribute)- This one is about 4 years overdue but is now finally happening... I teamed up with Dave DeMarco (multiple bands), James Goetz (Division), Randy Ellefson (guitar virtuoso) & Vince Barille (Cloudbreak) to form Iron Maiden tribute band, Seventh Son. Check out or page for show dates.

ASTRAL SUN (Records & Distribution)- I teamed up with Maurice Taylor (bassist from Houston, TX- based prog-metal band "All Too Human") to launch our own independent label, specializing in Prog-Metal (and Rock) and Power-Metal. Our first release will be All Too Human's "Juggernaut". See the ASR&D page for more details.

Wrath Of The Raven’s Dance

Jul 7 2009 8:41 AM

Hi!

Put together the first music video for one of the songs, that being for the song "Eel Marsh House", which is based on the movie "The Woman In Black". Wasn't sure to name it that instead of 'Eel Marsh..." ...Eel Marsh House being where the woman in black 'lived', and now haunts it. Though, she seems to haunt the general area of the village as well as the House. If anyone catches her gaze, looks into her eyes....a child will die, usually from the family of the person unfortunate to look at her. As you see what happens to the story's main character at the end.

Hope you like it, that's about all for now, Cheers! Rob

Hey Gordon - thanks, brother!  This is a working cover that Steve designed (yeah, he apparently does it all, eh? LOL!) ... the "real deal" will be designed by Martin Kornick aka MiTM Studios (Ajalon, Neal Morse, Keith Emerson). Very exciting, man!

Man, we can't wait to hear what the big man from Red Lion brings to AIRS! Soon, baby .... You have a good one, too, bro. :-)

Saturday, 1-31- MAC'S The Club

525 Eastern Blvd.
Essex, MD 21221
410-391-8919
Show starts at 10:00
No opening band!!!

Our goal is to present a mix of Maiden's classic repertoire from the Dickinson and DiAnno eras (No Blaze Bayley- you're welcome!!!) alongside some of the more obscure favorites. This way, everyone from the casual fan who likes the hits - to the die-hard who knows every lyric to every song - will leave the show feeling satisfied. Even "Eddie" has been known to make a cameo appearance on stage with us.

Seventh Son is comprised of the following:

Gordon Tittsworth - founder/vocalist of the progressive-metal band Images of Eden.

Dave DeMarco - plays with the prog band Oblivion Sun, and Van Halen Tribute, Everybody Wants Some.

James Goetz - drummer of Division as well as Images of Eden (just recently announced), but is playing guitar for us!

Randy Ellefson - has his own instrumental metal band and has released 2 CDs of original music, The Firebard and Some Things Are Better Left Unsaid.

Vince Barille - is a founding member of local sensations Cloudbreak and plays with Wes McDonough.

You know that you could have got a degree in cardiology while you were in Guatemala. It only takes 20min. and 75 bucks, and you could have gotten a job at Franklin Square hostpital in baltimore. As for Steve, he's a big pain the ass. I did hoever, start including him in my daily masturbation regiment. Which,I might add,I am getting ready to do now,so see ya Bro..
