Want to thank YOU the FANS for making the album THOU SHALT NOT FALL such a big success over the past 8 months in downloading & buying the ever dying in-store CD.
For all those who had a wonder of who wrote & sang CRY LITTLE SISTER originally, I think that matter has been made very clear now. I wrote this song at a piano in N.Y.C in the Autumn of 1986 never thinking that it would have lasted & reached as many souls that it has. Yes I wrote it having being very inspired by the script I was given from the director of The Lost Boys, Joel Schumacher, but what I wrote had every bit of how I viewed the vampires in life as well.
Over the next few months & into 2010, I look forward to touring the now festivals being booked & the various venues around the world. And also, I will be completing my book,
"CRY LITTLE SISTER - The keeper of Shangrila" which is to be released in 2010, and soon to follow, the playstation game & feature film.
The new G Tom Mac album is now in the recording process & should be ready for release at the end of 2009 beginning of 2010. So far, the recording of these many songs I've written is going extremely well & we seem to have pushed the envelope once more to a new level.
Yes, my real name is Gerard McMann. For so many that ask why the change from that to G Tom Mac, here's the truth! A lot of people just never seemed to pronounce my name correctly, Gerard Thomas McMann. So I am now, G Tom Mac! It works for me -- that's all I know!
In addition to the many TV shows using my music, such as "Terminator - Sarah Conner Chronicals", "The Closer", "11th Hour", "Nip Tuck" & so on.. I committed to a True Blood swampy version of Cry little Sister in a totally organic, authentic, dark Louisiana back country version. Be surprised this season! Or not!
Thanks for all your support, Keep Rockin' the Sister!
