| General | I love spending time with my family. Spending time with Lynnette and Micah really make me happy. I honestly don't know what I'd do without them. I also love writing, playing Christian metal(ala, Stryper, Whitecross, Angelica, you get the picture....). I'd love to get a band together to play around the area to witness to the lost. I'm also a 2nd degree black belt in Kung Fu. I've been taking Kung Fu for about 6 years. My instructor was also rhythm guitarist in one of my bands. That's how I got involved in martial arts. It's great for exercise and for self defense. | | Music | No surprises here. I LOVE metal music. I grew up listening to KISS and progressed to all the 80's metal bands, Dokken, Whitesnake, Ozzy, Judas Priest, etc. Now I listen to mainly the 80's,90's Christian metal bands like Whitecross, Stryper, Angelica, Shout, Guardian, etc. I do like some bluegrass(go figure) and some light classical from time to time to mellow out with. But I always go back to metal.. it's what I play... I've also appeared on PastorBrad's Shred, Reshredded, and Shredded Sweet discs. Check them out at www.guitarjams.net | | Movies | I love action movies. One of my favorites is Independence Day. I could watch that movie all the time. I'm also a big fan of the Star Wars trilogies and prequels. | | Television | I love documentaries on Biblical relics such as the Holy Grail, Ark of the Covenant, etc. Also just about anything on the History Channel | | Books | The Bible(of course), Lee Strobel's Case for books, Experiencing God by Henry Blackaby, and I've recently got into Frank Peretti books thanks to my wife. | | Heroes | I have 2. First one is Jesus Christ. I simply can't say enough about Him. There's been enough written on Him for you to put together why He's my Hero. My second one is my son Micah. He was born with a genetic disorder that the doctors cannot diagnose. It has made him slow to develop and currently at age 4 he can't walk or speak as a normal 4 year old. God is healing him progressively. Micah is making progress everyday and I believe that soon, he will be completely healed. It's amazing to see him getting better everyday. He's my hero because I watch him try and try so hard everyday to be like other little boys his age. He's got a tremendous will and drive to be like everyone else and he takes all his setbacks in stride, without complaint. He is truly a gift from Heaven. |

About me:
Okay... here goes. I'm 44, married to the most wonderful, beautiful woman in the world, Lynnette. I have a 4 year old son Micah whom I just adore. I love spending time with them. Aside from that and my work as a programmer/analyst, I love to spend time writing music. I grew up listening to 70's rock and eventually picked up playing the guitar in 1983(at age 20). I fell in love with metal music in the early 80's and when I received Christ as my saviour in 1983 I started playing metal music for Christ. I've since been in a number of bands, writing metal music to witness to the lost. I'm currently writing material for a future release CD(Metal of course!). My goal is to get a band together and witness/minister to people around central alabama. I've recently finished appearing on Brad Winlan's aka PastorBrad's 'Shred' 'Reshredded' And 'Shredded Sweet' CD's. Check them out at the link below. Who I'd like to meet:
I'd like to meet Billy Graham. I think he is the most phenomenal evangelist of our time. His commitment to God is one I think we should all have and one that I strive for everyday. I think he is one of the most dynamic Christians of our day and someone who has lived his life for Christ.
