Music producer Barbu "Mista'B." Isloi started his journey into the musical landscape in 2001 when he started breakdancing mostly for fun and fame rather than passion and accomplishments, being that 2000-2001 were the years that the electro hip-hop Soul Sonic force influenced sound hit eastern Europe with the helps of music producers such as Germany's own "Triple M Crew" lining up to form the Music Instructor which was the launching pad for breakdance groups such as Flying Steps or Southside Rockers, who became hugely popular in Europe in the early 2000s. Synchronised with Finnish electro freestyle Bomfunk MC's platinum selling single "Freestyler", driven by the creative force of Jaakko "JS16" Salovaara, everybody back then was a fan of the sound.
By 2003, Mista'B. started thinking about creating his own music to use in bboy battles or training and started crafting beats, but, at the same time, hip hop started to be the main influence in mainstream media, so the focal point was, once again, like in the late 70s in New York, switched from the bboys to the MCs who were much closer to the conventional "recording artist" image to the mainstream crowd. Also influenced by the local hip hop scene, he shortly switched his work from making beats to writing and recording music and in 2005, together with fellow producer Eastory and mc/songwriter Sly, he started a collaboration under the group name "Ghetto Squad". They wrote and produced a first single which they named "Memorial" and as the track got surprinsingly good reviews from the local underground scene they continued working on music together, releasing several other singles in the years to come.
Presently, Eastory has focused his attention on producing remixes for various well known artists and Sly has steadily shifted towards writing solo tracks. Mista'B. is working as a producer with various artists throughout the world, vastly interested in diversifying the actual sound of most gifted artists who fail at picking right producers for their project.
