Camping, music, home theatre, gadgets, but mostly trying to help my son to adulthood.Music
Well, I like to play keyboards and am trying to learn to play the drums. My son seems to have a natural talent for music. Most people say I have lousy antiquated taste in music. I know what I like and I REALLY know what I don't like. I like the Beatles, Carpenters, Shania Twain, Asia, Bread, America, Styx, Bob Dylan, Whitney Houston, Frank Sinatra, Aqua, and yes, I like disco music. I don't like blues, most jazz, 99.9% of rap (which I don't classify as music).Movies

When I was a kid, I used to watch The Courtship of Eddie's Father and think what a great relationship they had. I remember thinking to myself, that's the kind of relationship I wish I had (I didn't) and hope to have with my children. I believe I have come close to that ideal with my son.Books
The last book I started was the 9/11 Commission report. .. Before that, I used to read alot of Tom Clancy. .. Now I read more periodicals, newspapers and of course the Internet.Heroes

.. .. Originally, I signed up here to find out what this MySpace is all about and to communicate with my son and daughter. I'm not sure if they appreciate my involvement, but I hope they don't mind too much. I promised I'd try not to embarrass them (too much). Anywise, they know I'm watching, that's a good thing, right?!!! .. I've always enjoyed the Peanuts characters. Particularly Snoopy. So. that's why they are my theme.
