About me:
In the ultimate battle of good versus evil, which would prevail? Would good win because God is on their side? Or would evil conquer and take reign?
We are the characters of the Guardian Line comics. Although we are all relatively new to the comic universe, we are looking to defeat evil and glorify the name of God while doing it. Each of us star in different titles. The titles that make up the Guardian Line are Code, Joe & Max, Genesis 5, and the Seekers. The Guardian Line comics, created by Michael Davis (Milestone, Static Shock).
We are a select few -- mainly African American comic book characters and Christian.
Each of us have unique adventures, unique abilities, but a common enemy.
God has given us a mission - defeat evil in the form of our main nemesis, Steven Dark.
Every issue 1 is the beginning of a very interesting ride. Check out a preview at theguardianline.com.

The other day I had a revelation. I was quite disappointed with the first two Fantastic Four movies and as I was reflecting on such thoughts it occured to me: the ideal Fantastic Four movie formula. The first film was a gimme' in the area of being an origin movie but the filmmakers' choice in supervillains was awful. Why Doctor Doom? The Lord of Latvaria wasn't introduced as a primary adversary until after the team schematics were established. After revealing the Fantistic Four to the silver screen audiences, Hollywood should've done their comic book history research and followed the examples of success laid out to us by Stan and Jack. In all of the commotion of discovering their superhuman abilities, the first real villain that the FF should've faced was the Moleman, his moloids, and the creature from beneath the surface of the Earth that he used in his first battle against the fledling team. Doctor Doom could've been introduced in the first movie as Victor VonDoom, Reed Richards' jealous peer, but only in his pre-Doom form which could be used for building up towards the sequel's plot: Fantastic Four versus Dr. Doom! The original sequel that we've come to know as rise of the Silver Surfer would've come in nicely as the triquel but more visuals of Galactus would've been nice. Dropping Doom from the storyline would've also helped to meak the movie more enjoyable! Just my thoughts.

Check it out, outside of a bunch of other roles I play, I am a high school math teacher... and I found out the students we have in the 180 program (designed to improve reading skills and interest) are reading a book about Comic boook careers and it had a chapter about Michael Davis - Comic Book entrepenuer...
Michael keeps blessing everyone he is contact with!
I just got a peek at Max and Joe, amongst your many other comic books, and I must say that your work is truly commendable. It is an honor to know that an African American brother has put out a quality product featuring a Brown superhero who happens to be the guardian angel of an African American child. To top it all off I believe that your line of comics are all founded upon Godly priniciples and the Lord Jesus Christ. That is truly extraordinary!!!
I myself have a line of comic books and comic book characters which have yet to see publication and mass distribution but hold many of the same biblical truths and cores fundamental to the Word of God (ir the Gospel). Do you have any openings or internships available for up and comers in the funny books field?
Please get back to me. I'd love to chat it up with you.
