Güdenläwd was born in 2003, Sao Paulo, Brazil, when Guitar Player/Lead Singer Roberto Costabile Jr.
put together his first songs on a Demo, some of which he had been playing in other projects.
By this time, Some of the ideas have evolved,
resulting in a "straight to the point" material.
To complete the line up is Ademir Pereira Junior on Drums.
Back in november 2004, the band recorded its First Demo release.
The project received very good reviews at the Heavy Music local Press, who always praised
it's classic influences, great songwriting and well defined style.
For the first Demo release they played at the underground circuit in São Paulo.
Even in Small Clubs Gigs, they always achieved great response from the audience,
thanks to the high energy of the performances.
MUSIC WRITTEN BY ROCKERS TO ROCKERS
There are musicians who play heavy music and musicians who play in a
heavy way, and it's in this category Güdenläwd fits in.
LIKE A GOOD OL' BOURBON
Due to the many styles and references created to define a specific
Art Expression, day after day it gets harder to describe a Musical Work.
Some use references like Desert-Rock, Hard '70, Fuzz Rock, Stoner, Sludge,
Blues-Metal, you can call it the way you want.
Whatever is the name of the game, the final result is the same:
Heavy Music, strongly guided by cutting and singing Guitar Riffs,
over a groovy and powerful Rhytmic Session.
The band's musicality can be described as Rock..n..Roll Old School, without being old-fashioned.
Like a good old bourbon, it must be appreciated in the cowboy style,
with no blends.
"GOOD AND LOUD" - The Debut Release
The band's first Official Album, "Good And Loud", was recorded between March/June 2006,
at Pop Art Studios, Sao Paulo, Brazil.
With the release of the First Album "Good And Loud" there are scheduled concerts for 2010,
along with a Live Concert Video footage, to capture the energy of the band in stage.
