I Guelder Rose si formano precisamente il 12 Settembre 2003 con BnJ alla prima chitarra, Fudo alla batteria, Teo al basso, Ste alla voce e Matt B-1 alla seconda chitarra.
Nei primi tre anni di attività la formazione continua a subire entrate ed uscite, fino ad arrivare addirittura a sei componenti, con l aggiunta della tastiera, e per poi ritornare a cinque ed infine a quattro elementi subito dopo l’incisione della prima demo avvenuta il 4 Febbraio 2006.
La band intanto continua a prender parte a numerosi concerti ed a far accrescere il numero di fans, fino a quando, il 2 giugno 2007, è invece il batterista Fudo a decidere di lasciare il gruppo per varie discussioni.
I Guelder Rose entrano così in un periodo di affannosa ricerca che viene culminata solo la sera del 25 Luglio 2007, in cui viene trovato il nuovo batterista, che porta la band su una nuova linea. Il 14 Febbraio 2009, giorno di San Valentino, viene annunciata l'entrata del nuovo chitarrista Roland. La Formazione definitiva vede perciò BnJ alla chitarra, Tia alla batteria, Teo al basso, Ste alla voce e Roland all'altra chitarra.
Il 2 Aprile 2009, a distanza di circa 3 anni, esce finalmente la seconda demo dei Guelder Rose, intitolata "The Second".
Guelder Rose begins on the 12th of September in 2003 with Bnj as lead guitarist, Fudo as drummer, Teo as bassist, Ste as vocalist and Matt b-1 as rythm guitarist. In the first three years of activity the line up sees a lot of changes of members, until the formation of a six members line up, with the addition of the keyboard, and to return to five and finally to four members, immediately after the release of the first demo on the 4th of February in 2006.
The band continues to take part in many concerts and the number of its fans grows up, but on the 2nd of June in 2007, Fudo, the drummer, decides to leave the band because of different discussions.
Guelder Rose begins to look for a new drummer, and they find him in the night of 25th of July in 2007, this new member take the band on the new line. On the 14th February 2009, the Valentine's Day, the Band announced the enter of a new guitatist Roland. The definitive formation sees Bnj as guitarist, Tia as drummer, Teo as bassist, Ste as vocalist and Roland as the other guitarist.
On the 2th April 2009, after 3 years, the second demo of Guelder Rose, "The Second" has been released.
