HERE IT IS! The prompts for GFP are:
a Blackberry phone
a queen of hearts card
and the line "Maybe I did, maybe I didn't."
Good luck to you all, and we'll see you Sunday morning!
The Guerilla Film Project is a filmmaking competition for high school students. Teams compete to write, shoot and edit a winning three-minute narrative short over one long weekend.
The contest is open to teens from anywhere in Washington. You just need to either be a current high school student or 15-18 years old. Teams are 3-5 people.
Here's how it works:
- Teams register in advance. Send us a note for registration info.
- At the start of the contest all registered and paid teams will receive the secret prompts that every film has to use: two props and a line of dialogue.
- Movies can't be longer than three minutes, must be narratives--in other words, tell a story--and must include the prompts. Beyond that, anything goes. Live action or animation, comedy, drama, silent--be creative!
Judges will pick the top flicks in a variety of categories, and the audience will pick their favorites for the People's Choice Awards. Plus there's CASH Prizes!
Want to play? Contact us with a myspace message or at guerilla@pickfordfilmcenter.org and we'll set you up.
