i always open the show with THE GREATEST ARTIST TO EVER EXIST ON THE FACE OF THE PLANET, STEVIE WONDER!!! if you don't hear STEVIE, something is either wrong, or i am not there... STEVIE is the guiding hand in whatever i do in the air room. other than STEVIE, i play quite a bit of jazz (everything from herbie hancock to billy cobham to ella fitzgerald- blue note is a favourite); hip hop, spoken word, michael jackson (and his siblings); there are news clips and commentaries, and there's my dear brother Tony Muhammad!
guess who's coming to radio??!! is a show with a goal to address the sociopolitical issues pertaining to the decendants of african slaves in this country (black people), from a younger person's perspective. the discussions will be combined with positive and political music of various genres, as composed and performed by this long line of decendents. there will be once-a-month book highlights, as well as guests who contribute to pro-activity in their respective communities. there will also be an opportunity for the listening community to become involved in conversations, by calling in. let's liberate our minds through the airwaves!!!--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
