For those of you who missed the lovely Miss Juvita Pingiaro on air with JoyFM's Taryn, we'll hopefully have a transcript (and possibly even a podcast!) on our website - http://guessworkinc.com - within the next week or so. Have patience, kiddies, typing out every um, ah and giggle takes time! :)
We're on YouTube!
New video up! Live sights and sounds from two of Guesswork's most successful gigs - supporting Vanessa Amorosi at the Chelsea Heights Hotel and the 'Girls Behaving Naturally' gig at the Peninsula Lounge - have been put together with the band's 2008 single, Dublin Rain, and posted on YouTube. The sound comes from the Peninsula Lounge gig where special guest, Johnny Kendall, added his exquisite talents on the fiddle to this Celtic influenced rock ballad. Please go and check it out and let us know what you think! :-)
While you're there, don't forget to check out our in studio recording of 'Sinking Sands'. Footage from Bill Irvine's Studio and final audio recording, mixing and mastering by Josh Roydhouse of Big Bear Music.
For those of you who have been here for the long haul, you might have noticed a slight change....yep, we've changed our name! Once upon a time we were known as Good Fight. With the expanded sound we now have with the addition of Luke Mears on drums and Ben Clacy the bass man, we thought it high time for a fresh new name to go with our new image. So, here we are.... Guesswork :) Over the next month or so we'll be adding brand new recordings, photos from gigs and other happy snaps, and access to video recordings on YouTube. We hope you'll stick around for the changes and enjoy hearing and seeing them as much as we did creating them!
Cheers from all of us here at Guesswork!

Juvita and Joel have been playing together for the past five years, creating their own unique blend of folk and soul music. Their passion cascades from their songs in Juvita's husky, hardcore vocal stylings and Joel's intricate and elegant guitar melodies.
In the process of perfecting songs for their debut album, 'I Never Want It To End', Juvita and Joel brought Cass into the fold to add haunting cello undercurrents to Guesswork's deeply personal songs which carry a universal appeal in their honesty and willingness to expose the inner workings of their hearts and souls in lyric and melody.
Guesswork's two track promo CD "Dublin Rain" quickly sold out. Now with the addition of Luke Mears on drums and Ben Clacy on bass, Guesswork are back in the studio recording their forthcoming album "This One's Out Of My Hands". The sound is deeper, broader and gutsier and the new song lyrics are as passionate as ever, ranging from the heartbreakingly poignant "Sinking Sands" to the deep bite of "Handful".
Guesswork have played at the Frankston Sea Festival and Between The Bays and continue to play throughout the Mornington Peninsula and beyond - from The Portsea Hotel to gigs at The Royal, The Bay and Social in Mornington, Bayside in Frankston, The Peninsula Lounge in Moorooduc, Chelsea Heights Hotel, Hallam Hotel. Manchester Lane and Crown Casino.
