Hey there, Here's one from left field for you... Ever wondered what to do in the event of a nuclear threat? A while back I came across some very disturbing information, which inspired me to make this video: Living Under the Shadow of the Nuclear Umbrella http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UaIim3Rj7L4 Both artistic (ensure you've good enough sound to enjoy the background music!) and educational, it primarily comprises official British government civil defence advice. Though the source materials are somewhat aged, the fundamentals remain relevant today. I encourage all to visit the YouTube web page above to learn more (Show your support! Rate! Thank you for becoming a friend of the American Anti-Slavery Group. From sex slaves in Asia to chattel slaves in Africa, more people are enslaved today than ever before. At the American Anti-Slavery Group (AASG) we fight for the freedom of the estimated 27 million victims of human trafficking globally through education, advocacy work, grassroots activism, and direct aid.
We need the help of supporters like you. AASG is currently working with Christian Solidarity International to liberate slaves in Sudan and providing them with food, medical care, and necessary supplies to rebuild their lives. At least 12,000 people are being held in slavery in northern Sudan and many more are being displaced, kidnapped, murdered and abused in Darfur.
We are also fighting slavery within the US. It is estimated that nearly 17,000 people are trafficked into the United States every year and held in bondage through forced labor, debt bondage, chattel slavery, and sex slavery.
You can learn more about these issues and many others by visiting our website at www.iabolish.org/ and please consider putting our banner on your site. Thank you for your support.
