I'm easily distracted by:
uhhem .."The News", human rights, changes in foreign policy, art, music, love, history, philosophy, sunrises, sunsets, " holy moments", poetry, politics, passions, particle theory or quantum physics,conversations, reading, motivations, I easily get crushes on interesting & intelligent people I meet, the computer with it's endless amounts of fascinating information, movies with meaning, people with meaning, writing with meaning, all kinds of MUSIC, beautiful architecture, people on trains, people's rituals- old & new, religious dialogue, commentaries from film makers about projects they've completed, group dynamics, witty people, documentaries, astronomy, technical advancements, cognitive science, evolution, language, artificial intelligence- intelligence that's artificial- hehe, taking some classes, little girls in plaid skirts laughing with their Mommies on their way home from school, a cat intensely watching the flame of a candle flicker, the steeple of St Paul's church- reminds me of a Monet painting called "Dusk"- especially at dusk,the Alligator's adventures stories, the Duchess' stories,the Cop's stories, the Bohemian's stories, the Pilot's stories, the Arab's stories, and my daughter's initiation into the world of the intellect- our conversations have changed dramatically recently ( I'm so proud of her!! Yipee)
Somehow, these things are infinitely more interesting to me than well, you know..."The Grind"
Life is just so much more interesting when you're wearing "Anthropology Glasses" ...
So many people- so many different perceptions- there is no "right way"- no "wrong way" - just different "ways", and yet the same..it's funny...
ISN"T IT ALL ABOUT OUR INDIVIDUAL PERCEPTIONS ANYWAY??

dinner? what? how about 4 weeks? im out on the atlantic driving piles for a power plant and can not be seen in public at the moment. I have sun boils and racoon eyes. yes. i said sun boils. all over my hands and ears no less....
so the other morning, in my joyous few minutes of half dreaming half waking...my alarm clock news was telling me that america has finally hit an official recession and that mr. bush has sent out an air raid somewhere south of bagdad....................IS THIS THING ON??? HELLO???
