Born and raised in Milan, I grew up listening most of the greatest 70's/80's rock bands. I started singing at 14 when I joined a local band named Sauvage (AC/DC,Scorpions,Trust,IronMaiden sound a like).On early 80's Sauvage recorded a track called "All night long" which was included on the Compilation "Italian Metal vol.1" (the very first italian metal compilation released by unsigned bands). At the end of the 80's I 've been much influenced by great vocalists just like Steve Perry,Bobby Kimball,Fergie Frederiksen,Jimi Jamison,Lou Gramm,Steve Overland,Richard Marx,Ronnie James Dio,Paul Stanley and Brad Delp to name a few, after awhile I formed the italian Bryan Adams's tribute band called Mr Bryan, playing most of Bryan's stuff but also many songs from Journey,Toto,Survivor,Bon Jovi etc. At that time we did many gigs into many clubs on north of Italy, playing at two Official Bryan Adams's fans Convention scheduled in Italy and Germany as well, getting a good response from the audience. On early 90's I met the drummer Paolo Morbini who was looking for a singer to join his debut album simply titled "Paolo Morbini", sounding like Journey/Toto and Survivor.
The album was sang in italian lyrics. After awhile I formed a tribute band to late AC/DC's singer Bon Scott called Problem Child performing lots of gigs in Italy (included also two AC/DC's official convention playing at Milan's legendary venue Rolling Stones) , adding some dates over Germany and Switzerland as well. On 2003 I took the chance to record a tribute album to Journey (since today one of the fewest tribute to Journey sang by a solo singer) playing all the lead and backing vocals on 11 hits, receiving lots of excellent reviews and feedback by most important melodic rock web'zine,famous rock artist just like Survivor's Jim Peterik (who still a friend of mine and also personal favorite artist), writers,Journey's fans who voted me as one of the closest Steve Perry's clone. On 2004 along with my old buddy Paolo Morbini we both re-record and autoproduced the Paolo Morbini's first solo album under the monicker of My Land changing the title into "The time is over", but singing in english lyrics this time, playing new different melodic lines and arrangements , adding a new acoustic ballad called "Under the sky" .The feedback obtained by some of most important melodic rock's web'zine gave us the chance to sing a deal for indie milannaise label Valery Records who will be produced our next album called "No man's land" (we are actually recording), featuring some amazing famous special guests just like Europe's guitarist Kee Marcello and Tommy Denander (Toto,Chicago,Kiss's Paul Stanley).
The album will be out on late sept. 2007 hopefully and it is still much inspired by Journey,Toto,Survivor,Richard Marx, Asia,Yes, Chicago etc. (the artists we love most).Of course my thanks goes to my family, my wife and my loved son who really give me a reason to live every day, all the friends who supported me sharing lots of fun and special moments..I can't name them all, but you know who you are! It goes on and on..
