There is a parallel universe where humour is banned, a world totally without comedy. Two men from this world are on the run for daring to set up an illegal comedy club. Chased by the comedy police they escaped into an underground cave in a deserted mine in which they were surprised to find overlapped with another universe.
Have you been taking drugs?
…you see, in their world, comedy has been banned for over 500 years following a rather unfortunate incident involving a rake, a small rodent and King Louis XIV of France (theirs not yours). All humour has been completely eradicated from their society, history and cultural heritage. The two men, however, have a dream…but they need your help...
Oh – here we go!
The two men are planning a covert and highly illegal operation to reintroduce comedy into their world, nay into their universe in fact! At this stage, we cannot stress how difficult and dangerous this is going to be – it is not for the faint hearted. There are many risks – such as being caught by the authorities (again, theirs not yours) and, most importantly, being shite.
