Guirum was formed in 2003 by insecteens aka Xiao-bai (the guitarist of Sugar Plum Ferry, the bassist of Tin Pan Alley) and djembe player Xiao-hong. Soon they have been qualified as "Taipei Street Artists" and joined a variety of local cultural festivals and musical performances such as Yilan, International Children's Folklore & Folkgame Festival, Hohaiyan Rock Festival, and Grass Festival. You could even come across them on the streets at Shi Men Ding or Xinyi district. Djembe plays the drum rhythm with acid, impromptu noise come from the guitar. Guirum's performance is simple as their life attitude: free and play by heart.
