Neumusak presents a one off performance of GUITARELAY for the Closing Night of 2009 Melbourne Fringe Festival. The event will feature live, manipulated visuals by the legendary Hugh McSpedden. A very (very!) limited edition compilation Cd will be available on the night - featuring tracks from the players.
Guitarelay is a 19 guitar player group improvisational performance. One player begins, others join without pattern but at their own deciding and play for a duration of their own determination. In this way guitar sounds are relayed, interplayed and overlayed to and from players! The performance is open to reducing to one player or swelling to accomodate all at once.
Performers are in our top friends. Our music player features 1 minute edits of some of the Compilation Cd tracks, more to be added there soon.
This will be a unique celebration of some of Melbourne's guitar innovartors!
