GFC was started mid 2005 by Shred Durst (aka Doug Steele/John Sanders) and faithful bodyguard Quirkore the Destructor and ran strongly through to mid 2006 in various Melbourne clubs. GFC has re-opened its doors for all guitarists, no matter what age, what style! .. GFC is a great fun and will incredibly enhance your guitar vocabulary without you even knowing it. Pay your five bucks admission, plug your guitar into one of our rigs, and play over various backing tracks. That simple. Karoake for guitar. 3 players usually go up at one time and play over 3 backing tracks, the styles are Blues, Metal, Fusion, and Ballads. No one cares if you've played for 1 year or 10 years, or if your influences are Stevie Ray Vaughn or Steve Vai, we're all there to jam, not judge. .. So get down to GFC and have a great time!..
