Female Guitarist Time For You to Shine!
Guitar Goddess, Inc., was formed to bring female guitarist together under one site to learn, grow, network and celebrate our accomplishments.
There is a power in solidarity and our aim is to collect and maintain the largest database of female guitarist from around the world.
Each month beginning in March 2008, we will be reviewing new works by female guitarist on guitargoddess.com as well as sharing guitar tips and tricks of the trade. We will review equipment and keep you up to date with the latest technology.
To further bring awareness about female guitarists, we have launched the Guitar Goddess competition.
Each year we will comb the globe looking for the best female guitarists. Competition begins by submitting a video showing you at your best. From there selected artist are given an opportunity to attend a live audition in front of guitar industry professionals. Contestants who advance beyond this round will be invited to compete in front of celebrity judges during a televised competition.
This is a celebration of women in music. For two long, the female guiarist has been ignored by the music community. For years the media has asked time and time again, where are the women? And we responded "RIGHT HERE!" Again we were not heard. Now for the first time we are all collected under one roof. This is our home. The home of the Guitar Goddesses!
