My birthday is November 4th (SCORPIO). At the age of 10 I started out playing Trumpet and French horn at Blessed Sacrament elementary and high school in Beaumont Texas. I Started playing guitar at age 15,organized my first band at the age of 17, we were called THE HEART BREAKERS.I moved from Beaumont Texas to Long Beach Calif.in 1959 and formed a band called THE DEBONAIRS.Later we changed the name to THE MOD SQUAD.We played all over Calif. and over Seas.STEVIE WONDER would set in with us on drums at a club in Hollywood on Hollywood & Vine called THE HOUNTED HOUSE! In between these gigs and through the years I played with:Johny Otis band,Little Willie John,Etta James,Jimmy Holiday,Bobby Day,Brenton Wood,Brenda Holloway, Joe Houston,The Drifters,The Coasters,The Sherells,Martha And The Vandellas,Guitar Slim and Edd Townsend,Smokey Wilson and Guitar Shorty. I'v recorded with: Ray Charles CD Love Country Style,Barry White CD Staying Power,War,Jacky Dushannon song, Put A Little Love In Your Heart,Theola Kilgore song, The Love Of My Man,David T.Walker,Jimmy Holiday,Leon Haywood,Arther Adams,Bobby Womack,I was co writer on Jimmy Holiday song Baby I Love You,Also co writer on Barry White's song on his last CD called Staying Power the second song on the CD called Don't Play Games. For the last 5 years I'v been touring and recording with Mighty Mo Rodgers. I PLAYED GUITAR on all of his CD's except his first one: Blues Is My Wailing Wall.
