Times for "soulful musicality", Evan has appeared in the pages of Classical Guitar magazine (England) and Soundboard magazine (USA).
As a composer, Evan's compositions reflect a fusion of musical influences. They range from classical to metal, creating a unique brand of hybrid music. His compositions are being embraced by a variety of performers including the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet and the Chinese guitarist Xuefei Yang among others. Evan's piece "Lament and Wake" is featured on the 2005 GRAMMY® winning CD "LAGQ's Guitar Heroes".
Musical performances have taken him throughout the world, where he has collaborated with diverse artists such as jazz-fusion pioneer Rick Laird of the Mahavishnu Orchestra, classical guitarist Scott Tennant and the rock guitarist Paul Gilbert. An active performer of contemporary classical music, Evan has world premiered or had works dedicated to him by composers such as Ian Krouse, Roland Dyens, and Andrew York.
Evan received his formal education at the University of Southern California, the University of Arizona and Indiana University. While an undergraduate, Evan additionally studied in France with the composer Roland Dyens. As a Graduate Fellow, Evan taught at the USC Thornton School of Music.
A native of Detroit, Michigan, Evan resides in Los Angeles where he currently divides his time between composing, performing and teaching guitar. He is on the faculty at the Musicians Institute (GIT), Hollywood and his first book will be published in 2008 by the Hal Leonard Company.

Hi Evan, Luv your music so much its so inspiring i cant stop listening to it, i notice you have a song called meditation and was thinking how good it would be to meditate too i know many people who would luv to meditate to it, you should maybe think about makeing the songs longer and sell as meditation music over the net, u would make a fotune :D:D:D:D
You are most welcome. I love the style. I like the whole modern thing of putting nice harmonies and steel string and electric guitar techniques on the classical. I first heard it from Andrew York and I love it. I play sunburst, lullaby, sunshine rag and Andecy. i'm sure you know them.
By the way are the tracks on your player published - apart for the LAGQ track - It would be great to get hold of them.
