Robert was born in Detroit, Mich. and has been playing guitar professionally for over 20 years, and has developed into one of Detroit’s HOTTEST Jazz guitarists. You have to experience the excitement for yourself. He has recorded with Dr. Lonnie Smith, Charles Earland, Houston Person, Enchantment, and the Dramatics; and has performed with Jimmy Smith, Johnny “Hammond” Smith, Joey DeFrancesco, Richard “Groove” Holmes, Nancy Wilson, O.C. Smith, Marlena Shaw, Eddie Jefferson, Kenny Garrett, Regina Carter and recorded on Westbound, 20th Century, CTI Records, Fantasy Records, GRP, and Lowe-Down Records Inc. Robert graduated from Chadsey high school in Detroit, MI. His influences are Wes Montgomery, George Benson, and Kenny Burrell. "Lowe is regarded by many musicians who have heard him as a guitarist capable of swinging fiercely at fast tempos, and so funky you won’t believe it. He plays clean fluent lines effortlessly and warmly". Now he is looking to expand his performing from Detroit to around the world.
