Modern Chicago blues guitar with touch of funk and R&B
Hello everyone,
Thanks for checking myspace/guitarshun.
Please let me introduce myself briefly.
I was born and grew up in a suburb of Tokyo called Utsunomiya, Japan and I have been playing the guitar since I was 10.
Now I am residing in The States for 22 years and 18 years in Chicagoland.
Since I moved to The States, I have been extremely lucky to have opportunities to perform or record with such blues ,R&B and jazz legends as B.B.King, Koko Taylor, Junior Wells, Otis Rush, Buddy Guy, Magic Slim, Robert Lockwood Jr, Pinetop Perkins, Billy Branch, Bo Diddley, Irma Thomas, James Cotton, Hubert Sumlin, Lonnie Brooks, Johnny & Shemekia Copeland, Tyrone Davis, Buddy Miles, Kenny Wayne Sheppard, Brian McNight, J.W Williams, Son Seals, Louis and Dave Myers, Otis Clay, Jimmie Johnson, Eddy"The Chief"Clearwater, Eddie Shaw, John Primer, Big Time Sarah, Tommy McCracken, Johnny Little John, Nellie"Tiger"Travis, Lurrie Bell, Carl Weathersby, Ronnie and Wayne Baker Brooks, Chicao Banks, Rico McFarland, Chick Rogers, Marva Wright, Deborah Coleman, Marcia Ball, Roy Hargrove, Mark Whitfield and Mark Turner.
Currently I am a member of Koko Taylor's Blues Machine , J.W Williams and The Chi Town Hustlers and Mt Moriah Baptist Church Band.
Here are what the presses have said about me.
