haha! omg that's exactly where i was going!! my current self defense teacher also recommended harrisburg kung fu- he said that the one instructor, mr rothermel is a close friend of his... what are the odds that you had john doudrick at hacc? wow i'm finding it amazing how much i'm like following in your footsteps without even knowing it! well i'm glad that i got your recommendation for it anyway- i was looking online and saw that several of the pai lum kung fu classes teach the art in different ways, and that kind of turned me off to this place because i dont want to put time, money and effort into it then have it turn out to be inaccurate, know what i mean? now i've got two valid recommendations so i feel much better about it, thanks! :-)

i dont have any big plans, no... i'll hopefully find time to go the beach at some point or another- this monday i'm swinging by this one pai lum kung fu class (not at hacc, it's like a private training center thing) to see if i want to join that or not.
i've basically been looking for a new hobby; i've always had an interest in martial arts but i just never had the chance to get into it, so i'm gonna check that class out this week and see how it goes :-)

haha you had a ninja?? i was actually looking at a few ninja 250's- everyone i know that has a motorcycle says to start with a relatively low powered one for both insurance reasons as well as safety- you can always trade up later. of course my parents aren't as excited about it as i am, but they both rode in their younger years so i dont think they'll make too big a deal of it. along the lines of being adventurous, i was also looking into skydiving sometime this summer. there are a few places here in the harrisburg area that do it, i just have to pick a date and go for it :-P. it's cool that wes is almost done with another year, i'm sure he's pretty excited for another summer off haha. i like the new website by the way- it seems like you have a lot of good content on there.
i was looking at the books page and i'm curious about the one by dan millman "way of the peaceful warrior"; i might have to swing by border's one of these days and see if i can find it!

yeah i was on your page the other day and saw the new website- looks good! things are going pretty well... i'm actually still in my summer classes, they run through the end of june. i like my self defense class a lot- i've never taken any kind of martial arts training before and it's definitely piqued my interest. i've basically just been working and going to my classes- right after this summer semester ends i'm taking a motorcycle safety course at hacc to get my class m license (i dont even have a motorcycle yet haha) so i'm pretty excited for that... how's everything been in nj?

Hey- i'm glad that things are going well for you over in NJ... i actually just signed up earlier this week for summer classes and i also registered a few fall classes already. this summer i plan to take intro to computer systems and self defense basics, so that should be pretty cool. i also have looked into transferring... i dont know if i told you but i had switched my major to business administration, so i'm aiming to get my associate's degree from hacc in about another year or so, then transfer to penn state harrisburg for my bachelor's degree. it's hard for me to believe that it's all actually happening. i remember a few years back i was counting out the year that i would graduate from high school- 2007 seemed like such a distant number, yet already it's been here and gone. i'm still moving along, keeping my head up. i hope to hear from you again soon!

I hope all is well with you guys!
