I absolutely LOVE to draw. Check out my various albums in my pics section to see more of my work.
  • Music

Linkin Park, D12, M.O.P., Murderdolls, Good Charlotte, Rick James, Sublime, Mindless Self Indulgence, The Beatles, Ludacris... aw hell, there's a lot of stuff, huge variety, too much to list.
  • Movies

Fight Club, Pitch Black, Dark Fury, The Chronicles of Riddick, Blues Brothers, Legend, Matrix Trilogy, Event Horizon, The Specials, Underworld, Underworld: Evolution, Van Helsing, Evil Dead Trilogy, As Good as it Gets, The Shining, Anger Management, Mystery Men, Alien vs. Predator, and lets not forget Porn....but strictly for the "educational" content of course.
  • Television

I don't watch much on television anymore. TV rots your brain and was created for the unimaginative. But on the rare occasions when I do it's usually CNN, The History Channel, or The Discovery Channel. I also take a day each month to catch up on CSI and CSI:New York on OnDemand.
  • Heroes

My grandfather. A World War II Veteran and recipient of 6 bronze stars, but most of all one the best father figures I had while growing up.

About me:

I'm a freelance illustrator trying to make a name for myself in this over crowded business. My main focus of work usually falls into the genera of comic books and like styles though I also do fantasy based art along with role-playing character illustration on commission when needed.

I would love for all of this to one day turn into a profitable career since it is what I enjoy doing. My biggest goal right now is just to get published again and make a little money doing so in the process, or at least break even on supplies. I was published as an inker way back in 1996 on a very small press indy comic but that just wasn't satisfying enough for me. Now I want more.

If you really want to know more about me though, scroll back up a little and read through my blog. It's full of provocative thoughts, random conversations, artwork, and other mindless babbelings and rants about this life of mine. At least you'll know what you're getting yourself into before you say hello. If you like it, feel free to subscribe and post responses. Its really my main way of communicating to everyone here since we all know how pointless the bulletin space is with all the junk posts everyone puts up.

I keep a few samples of my work in my pictures section, throughout my blog, and there is some displayed on the left side of my profile. You can also visit any of the sites listed down below to see larger selections of my work.

Who I'd like to meet:

I'd like to meet other artists or designers interested in collaborating on various illustrative or design projects. I'm also always open to learning new styles and methods of illustration so anyone interested in being a mentor, it would be a very welcome option if it were to be presented.

Friend Requests:

All requests now require you to know my last name or e-mail address. It shouldn't be too difficult to figure out since my last name is all over the place here. I'll give you a hint, it's not "v2.0". So if you're serious about being a friend, please be intelligent enough that you don't need to ask me what my last name is. Oh, and since the spam bots somehow found a way around this, you also have to figure out that funky scrambled letters thing too. I know, it sucks, but you'll just have to deal with it.

Additionally, if your profile is set to "private" chances are your request will be automatically denied if you don't take the time to contact me first.

I enjoy meeting new people and making business connections as much as the next person and as such I have absolutely no problem approving most friend requests that get sent to me. However, I do screen each and every request that comes in and automatically deny web-cam whores, bands, films, and profiles with no picture. The reason for this is that if you are a band or film maker, I will find you if your product interests me and can do without having my mail and bulletins clogged up with your advertisements. It's nothing personal as I'm sure you have a great product to solicit, but I simply will not approve the request unless you have an interest in me or my artwork and contact me directly first. For the web-cam whores, I offer no apology because they are not real people on here. They are nothing more then mass created profiles where the name changes but the picture stays the same. Should any of these form letter generated profiles actually have a pulse on the other end of the screen, then contact me first and prove me wrong. Seeing as how most of the exclusion types I've listed most likely don't ever take the time to read profiles, I'm sure this has just been a waste of my time and profile space. Oh, and thanks to MySpace's advances in friend request options, I will not hesitate to report bullshit profiles as Spam. In fact, I rather enjoy doing it!

Words to Live By:

"I have one solid piece of advice for ANY comic artist/writer who busts ass for years and finally makes a name for themselves: if, at this point, you get involved with any woman- DO NOT LET THEIR WORDS OF HOW GREAT YOU ARE GO TO YOUR HEAD! You are still a peon artist in a biz of much better artists, the world CAN and WILL survive without your books, and ego makes you ugly.

I made this mistake, and I hate to admit this, of letting this happen for a brief time. Hey - it's great if your girlfriend thinks you're the shit, but don't trap that sunshine up your ass and shit it out on everyone else. Nothing is more pathetic then seeing that girlfriend-instilled ego-glow beaming off an artist while the neurotic little harpy keeps cawing on his shoulder."
