Jomo "Big Joe" Frederick is determination personified. The word failure is simply not part of his vocabulary. Gearing and ready for the success that he's optimistic is on the horizon, he's putting in all the necessary work to achieve his goals. Always on the grind, this 24-year-old's unfazed by the challenges he's had to overcome on his musical journey. The haters, he knows, will always be there —And they're around for only one reason — to make him stronger! In the music 'biz'' for the past four years, the Carenage native got his feet wet in the Hip Hop game during a stint at Premier Studios, where he worked alongside super producers Niko and Short Boss. Since then, he's never looked back. Not one to follow the crowd or sit on his laurels, Big Joe is paying his dues, aware that he too has to take the perilous voyage through the underground to reach the land of commercial success. With a strong belief in perseverance and commitment, the Mucurapo Junior Secondary alumnus is confident, now, more than ever, that with God on his side, there's nothing he can't accomplish. Ever grateful to Vanity Promotions, Socios Promotions, Premier Studios and his steadily growing fan base, Big Joe's honing his chops for what he hopes will be a successful and fulfilling 2010.
