New Wave of Biritish Heavy Metal, 80s Thrash Metal, Speed Metal
Januar 2007: One man project called "GUMO" starts. First demo "Metal Mafia" recorded by Daniel "Gumo" Reiß all alone.
April 2007: Alex Haas and Rainer Huber join the now complete band. The very first incarnation of GumoManiacs. Re-recording of some "Metal Mafia" tracks to be called the "Metal Mafia Reloaded" Demo.
August 2007: Contract with Future Clash Media, a professional music management.
Winter 2007/2008: Recording of 4 new tracks, simply called "Promo 2".
February 2008: The very first gig at Skullcrusher Dresden, followed by others in April and May.
Spring 2008: A bigger German record label shows interest for the band and asks for more demo recordings. These demos are simply entitled “Demo April 2008” and “Demo Summer 2008”.
September 2008: After 6 month of nerve-killing struggle with one’s own creativity as well as a fragile line-up, tons of emails and neverending phone calls this label decides not to sign the band. The reason: “not sure enough”. The contract with Future Clash Media ends. Alex Haas becomes more successful with his own Band Ingrimm and Drummer Rainer Huber moves to Munich. Founder and main man “Gumo” is just back at the point from where he started in January 2007.
The very same month: Gumo decides to fight on and to rebuild the band. He gets in contact with the German underground label G.U.C. and works out a deal for a vinyl debut album and also puts together an new line-up including the brothers Robert Hofmann on bass and Michael Hofmann on drums. The second incarnation of GumoManiacs is born.
October/November 2008: Recording the debut album called “Priest Of Lucifer”, produced by Gumo himself, featuring some guest guitar solos by Metal Raign guitarist Michael Pusch, a close friend of the Hofmann brothers. First sign of becoming a four piece band…
December 1st 2008: Vinyl version of “Priest Of Lucifer” is released. The Band also signs to Blower Reccords Mexico for the release of a CD Version of the debut.
In February 2009 the CD version of "Priest Of Lucifer" is released by Blower Records and Michael "Fuck" Pusch becomes a permanent member of the now four-piece-band.
During 2009 the band plays gigs regurlarly. The Highlights appear to be the Show at Chronical Moshers Open Air, The Metalfestival Dresden and the Show At Boiler Room in Regensburg where the band plays lots of new songs from the second album which is not out yet, as well as the cult track "The Antisinner" from Gumo..s Ex-Band THARGOS for the first time. At the end of the year GumoManiacs do their first international appearance with 2 Shows in Mexico City!

Hey! I just checked the dates from Mexico Tour and Im a bit confused with this one: "12/12/2009 11:00 p.m.EnMexico Tour 2009 , Izcalli, Colima"
Im moving out of Mexico city in the end of November to Cuautitlan Izcalli...and then I read here "Izcalli, Colima" but Im not sure if u guys are playing in Estado de Mexico or the state of Colima.
If u could please send me details (like the name of the place where u are playing for this date) just to be sure???
