BIO
"Guney Ozsan" was born in 1981. He started playing piano after primary school. He studied "Industrial Engineering" in "Bilkent University - Ankara" with full scholarship. After graduation in 2003 he entered "Composition and Theory Department" in "Bilkent University - Music and Performing Arts Faculty". He studied composition with "Mahir Cetiz" for three years and now he is studying composition with "Turgut Pogun" and counterpoint with "Bujor Hoinic".
Parallel to his musical studies, he also completed M.S degree in "Industrial Engineering" at the "Middle East Technical University" in 2008.
PRODUCTION
"Guney Ozsan" and "Cagil Seker" initiated the music production company, "Soyut-Lama Media Productions Ltd.", in 2007. They cover most production issues including the creative processes under the brand "Post-Illusions Production House", which concentrates on post recording sessions such as mixing and mastering.

ORGANIZATION
Guney Ozsan, Cagil Seker and Canan Pehlivan run together "321soldout.com Organization"" within the company "Soyut-Lama Media Productions". The focus is on concerts, parties and events.
"Dreamtone & Iris Mavraki's NEVERLAND" is the collaboration between Turkiye's progressive power metal band "Dreamtone"
and Greek artist "Iris Mavraki". Their debut album "Reversing Time", which features guest appearances of "Hansi Kürsch, Tom Englund, Mike Baker and Gary Wehrkamp", near to "Philarmonia Istanbul Orchestra", is released from "AFM records" in Feb 2008.
"Reversing Time" is available in local stores around Europe and Japan. It is also available on-line in "physical CD & downloadable mp3" formats in the e-stores listed here:
"Guney Ozsan" released dubmixes for two "Zakkkum" songs
"Hipokondriyak" and "Aglat Beni". Since the style of "Zakkkum" is very suitable for some psychological and obsessive moods the dubmixes catch the style of trance and deep house well. You can download the tracks for free:
Guney Ozsan is featuring in the acoustic version of "Kucuk Kadin" from "Volkan Muhurcuoglu"s upcoming EP, on the piano. You can listen to "Kucuk Kadin" above.
For a couple of years he practiced jazz wih "Janusz Szprot" and in 2004 participated in "Bilkent Jazz Ensemble directed by Janusz Szprot".
Now he is working on a project called "Caz Klinik (Jazz Clinic)". It is a project that is intended to be somewhere around avant-garde jazz and nu-jazz. Paradox
Very young (under 18) and talented Turkish Punk-rock band from a cute small city Iskenderun. They only have two demo songs but they barely show that have the spirit.
* In the song "Kirli Bedenler" you would find nice riffs and all songs will keep you rockin'.
2008 November & December
Ceylan Ertem
Trip-hop synthesis with Turkish Folk music with avant-garde and psychodelic extensions.
* "Gonul Dagi" is a nice and groovy trip hop cover on Turkish folk musician "Neset Ertas". Go for "Punk Funk Phunk on Peyote" and "Shenay" to have an avant-garde vocal and synth improvisation live taste.
Gonzo Fever
French style alternative rock. Energetic and dynamic sound with definite punk waves in it.
* Altough my favourite is "Le Crachoir" you should go for the other ones. "Pantins Anonymes" also has interesting sections.

* My favourite is "Regarding Kate", indeed the album "Water Fields" is a fabulous concept album as a whole.

* My favourites are "Kirmizi" and "Guzel Dostlar".
