A regular stand-in for the band Arran has now taken the role full time.
GUITAR & VOCALS STEVE JOHNSON
The front man for Guns'n'Oatcakes. Steve's "natural" stage presence is incredible. And when you match that to Steve's world class ability as a guitarist and stunning vocals, you quickly understand why Guns'n'Oatcakes remain Yorkshires PREMIER Rock Band, and have been for close on 20 years. Steve's professional career includes working as guitarist for the late Phil Lynott (Thin Lizzy) and is credited with working with Phil Lynott on the songs "Revolution" and "No More" which Steve also placed the harmony vocals just a few days before Phil Lynott sadly passed away. The songs also included Cosy Powell on drums. Steve's other work has included the Steve Dawson (aka SAXON) album "Pandemonium Circus" when he co-wrote, sung and played guitar. LEAD GUITAR: JACK ROWE
Given Jacks age of just 20, really does hide the fact that he is now in his second year with the band and holds the record of being the longest standing member. A professional musician by choice, Jack was involved with his own band 'Meltdown' before leaving that band to committ to Guns'n'Oatcakes as well as being a guitar teacher from his base in Swinton. DRUMS: ANDY TAYLOR
Mark Taylor but better known for some reason as Andy Taylor, takes over from Jack Rowe as the youngest member of the band at 18. Andy is currently taking his music technology course at college. Andy had played in a few Yorkshire based bands as well as Playing in the musical “we will rock you” a tribute to Queen before taking the giant step as drummer for Guns'n'Oatcakes.

Firstly, lets put the record straight on a few things. Guns 'n' Oatcakes is not a Guns 'n' Roses tribute band!
Guns 'n' Oatcakes cover all the big league bands such as Bon Jovi , Whitesnake, ACDC, Def Leppard, Brian Adams, U2, Thin Lizzy, Gary Moore etc – but this is just the start of the story.
Guns 'n' Oatcakes is a band possessing a commodity sadly lacking in today’s musical fraternity – a sense of humor!
Not a comedy act though, just four world class musicians making music for the love of it
