Guru Banana is a music project formed by Guru Andrea Fusari (Words & Music/Vocals/Acoustic Guitar/Electric Guitar) and Guru Giovanni Ferrario (Vocals/Instruments/Percussion/Treatments/Production).

Fall 2007. Giovanni Ferrario went visiting his long time fellow Andrea Fusari further south in the plain, in the bushes by the rivers. That night he got back with some home grown salad, a small bunch of home recorded songs, a fair-trade banana, I guess, just in case he got hungry along the road. Or am I wrong? The Old Volvo had already left and he was without a car? Anyway, he seemed to like the songs.
So they recorded in February. Giovanni played, recorded, produced, Andrea overlooking, singing, sleeping.
A couple of songs (Cold Water and Loose) were recorded on a Saturday at lunch time with a live band (feat. Nico Meteo on bass, Beppe Mondini on drums). Guest appereance include Antonio Rapaggi's wah wah (Wasting Time), Angie Fontana's guitar licks (Neighbours and Bucky Bucky), Pier "The Records" Ballarin on org & back voc (Neighbours).
Mixed next month.
Now, time by time, approaching to the final mastering.

Guru Banana put out the album in autumn 2008 (when even Ferrario's "Headquarter Delirium" was available in Italy).

Ciao i macachi rinnovano ancora una volta l'invito a tutti gli amici di venire alle favolose cene " Macaco Country Night "che i macachi organizzano nella loro co-housing in zona Preganziol (TV), in una casa immersa nel verde della campagna trevigiana dove hanno la possibilità di fare degli house concert + cena. E' un invito rivolto a chi ama il cibo biologico e la buona musica. Non perdete l'occasione di venire a trovare i co-houser di Rio Selva.. Non sono appuntamenti fissi, i macachi lo fanno per divertisi, quando c'è tempo e bella musica in giro. E' importante prenotare e a seguito vi sarà indicato come arrivare.
