All you really need to know for now is that Gussy is Josh Gussy and Minna Gussy, and they make music together.
No more than an infant, a swaddled Josh Gussy is tucked inside a wicker basket and unceremoniously cast out onto Boston's mighty Charles River.
Meanwhile, a world away in the City of a Hundred Spires, Prague, a young girlchild, soon to be known to the world as Minna Gussy, is similarly propped inside a makeshift watercraft and surrendered to the waters of storied Vltava River.
Through a series of logistical and geographical miracles, these fated baby canoes collide midstream, where the Charles meets the Vltava. Luckily, for our young travelers, they were rescued from what would surely have been a watery grave by a family of wild, woodland Tascam 4-track recorders, who took the pair in and raised them as their own.
Eventually, they bid the forest and their non-traditional, analog family farewell and started recorded some tunes.

That's awesome guys! =] Yeah 2009 was time warped. I'm convinced something happened to the space time continuum at some point this year that jacked everything up! =P Oooh, that sounds more exciting than x-mas morning! =] Looking forward to the message about it! =] And seriously, all your songs rock cranked up to 11! =] I hope you guys have a great holiday as well! =D
Oh Gussy dear Gussy, how I miss thou! Ready for a comment? Well here is comes! Im glad your ears were pleased with "A Whole Lotta Nothin" it took some time to squeeze that little ditty out of my veins. But finally, there it is. :D Here is the story I should be telling you though. These last few weeks have been madd busy for me. I've been getting involved with a lot of people, (not sexually, god forbid lol) but alot of old friends have popped back into my life at the right time. So my reason for not being on myspace that much would be human interaction, but dont worry, I didnt forget about you guys. I've been trying to shake some more tunes out of my fingers, but my guitar is crying a little bit. Im playing with four strings at the moment, so I have to be extra creative if I want to jam with a whole FOUR strings lol. I havent had the time to get those bad boys fixed yet. But when I do, I'll be ready to start up again. Lyrics are getting in the way of everything. My whole life is a handfull of lyrics. I panic when I get to the guitar because I know eventually I gotta pick some out. But when Im making my tunes, you guys (and Joel) are definatly on my mind. (btw, ignore any shit spelling) But Thanksgiving is creeping up sure enough, tomorrow actually. :D So I want to say that I am so thankfull that you guys added me when you did. Im thankfull that Gussy is the most hardcore, yet marshmellow like myspace friends all around. Talking with you guys has been a great help with my music. I know that if everyone else thinks it shit, you guys will be the flys hovering over it. Did I just say that? Lol I think I did. Thank you so much for being in my life and remaining so amazingly cool. Have an awesome Turkey day, and remember, dont feel bad about eating that turkey either. I was listening in on their conversation and I heard them saying somthing about creating a mind controll device for all humans. So go ahead and get you some of that dark meat or the light. :D What ever yo
Forgive my shameless self-promotion, but I'm busy telling the world my debut album I Am Liberated is now officially out and about and available to buy through Rough Trade Records (UK)...the ideal Christmas present for someone you really want to piss off!
Still taking your "Drugs" and feeling much better thank you...
Check out Zac on my friend list (he's new). I really like him and he's a tattoo apprentice. I need your approval :P
And it won't let me send you a gift in return because this is a band site :[ I wanted to send you guys the "sexy" green heart candy since you two are always on fire <3333 mwuahz
I shot this back in 2000 or so ... until my tape ran out ... @ the Houston Continental Club ... (I also got some mad mad love from CentroMatic that night as they were opening for Joe) ...
(and I'm sort of inclined to think that that's Joey Castillo on drums ... but I could be wrong)
...
...
And I just have to say ... as brief as her moments are and all ... I'm utterly smitten with the keyboard player (SEE 2:37 MINS!) ... (sigh) ... fucking pure sex on a keyboard.
Yeah, I found "Don't Tell a Soul" at a record store that briefly in Havasu, and I fell in love with it and had it on my wall for awhile too! I'm kinda trying to learn "Achin' To Be" on guitar, but I really want to cover, "Rock and Roll Ghost". I ordered that Tascam digital 8 track, and once I get it, I'm dusting off the key boards and bying some bongos. It will be tremendous.
I remember the first time I saw this video. I was 18, and we had VH-1 Classic, and I knew nothing about the time in the Replacements career. I was kinda taken aback by this at the time, because at the time I only had Let it Be, and Tim. I love how this video portrays the mats, great stuff! Have a great Weekend!
