"Boom shakalaka, I ain't your mamma" - with cojones bigger than Eagles of Death Metal and Pete Doherty between, this 18-year old lad is a blinding talent on a way too introvert Danish music scene. No matter if you call it postpunk, urbanrock or indie, you cannot deny that Gustav Foss is able to write some incredible catchy songs. When you combine that with an attitude, energy and cheek that only a teenager, which body is filled with hormones, is able to perform - you find a musician, you usually should be looking for.
Gustav Foss has (in his two years as an active musician) impressed the biggest Danish music medias like Soundvenue, Bandbase and Gaffa. Really considerable Danish radio hosts like Kjeld Tolstrup and Tony Scott have also discovered the lad, and with a homemade demo Gustav Foss achieved to be "Single of the Week" in Denmark's biggest daily radio talkshow 'De Sorte Spejdere' for two weeks in a row.
GAFFA: "Gustav Foss is both reliable and tough as careless and sexy central figure"
Soundvenue: "With cool self-assurance he throws out one catchy dancerock-riff after another, and adding his underacting and crunchy vocal, it is hard not to get excited"
