GUSTAVO ANGELES has been playing guitar and making music for more than 20 years. Music is an essential part of his life. He has opened for and shared the stage with the likes of JUANES, LOS LOBOS, ORIXA, QUETZAL, OZOMATLI, CAFE TACUBA, JOHN SANTOS' MACHETE ENSEMBLE, MALDITA VECINDAD, DEL CASTILLO, ARTURO SANDOVAL, TAJ MAHAL, to name a few. He has studied with Flamenco masters PEDRO CORTEZ, CHUSCALES and ERNIE CHAVARRIA (former pianist of JAMES BROWN, TITO PUENTE, NATALIE COLE). GUSTAVO has had the opportunity to have some of his songs produced by Producer/Pianist JOEY NAVARRO (GREG ADAMS, TIERRA, SISTER SLEDGE), featuring OSKAR CARTAYA on bass (SPYRO GYRA, JENNIFER LOPEZ, CELIA CRUZ) and TAL BERGMAN on drums (BILLY IDOL, ROD STEWART). Music has taken him to places like CUBA, COLOMBIA, ECUADOR, all troughout USA, and PUERTO RICO (Where he was on the road touring with OSUNLADE's band). Currently he's playing and pouring his heart out with the great Four piece ensemble "SONAN". .... .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. ..
