Gutter Island er Danmarks eneste Garagerock festival. Den startede I 2000
og er indtil videre blevet afholdt fire gange med stor succes ved Masnedø
Fortet udenfor Vordingborg.
Festivalen er blevet beskrevet som noget nær en institution indenfor dansk
garagerock og er unik fordi den, som den eneste af mange danske
musik-festivaler, alene fokuserer på Rock’n’roll og Garagerock-bands.
Gutter Island nyder også stor opmærksomhed i udlandet og mange fra vores
skandinaviske søsterlande valfarter til festivalen, der igennem tiden har
haft besøg af musikalske kapaciteter som blandt andre:
The Hives, New Bomb Turks, Wild Billy Childish, Baby Woodrose, Ricochets,
The Flaming Sideburns, PowerSolo, The Blue Van, The Defectors, og mange, mange flere.

Here's a video that was captured of me offering my bottleneck slide interpretation of an old blues song, Goin' T' Brownsville, on open mic night at Old Strokers in Everett, WA. It starts out with me briefly introducing my homemade "Nobro" resophonic guitar and explaining some of the various recycled garage sale junk that I used in it's construction. Enjoy!
