paycheck stubbz, but anyone ive worked with I consider my fam...Gutterscum, beatches!!! on a side note...cra-z-case produced nasty individual, and motivational speaker, and ridic(ule), cases evil twin brother spits the first half of the hook, and the second verse...and they are still my two most favorit bitches
Influences
I could spend hours at this, but, hip hop is what influences my style. if its good(KRS, styles of beyond, demigodz, def jux, cali com, the juice crew, DITC, copywrite and mhz, high and mighty, jean grae, hyrogliphics, rhyme sayers, living legends, black star, binary star, non phixion, roots, tribe ya'll, beartie boys, def squad, das efx, and immortal tecnique to name a few)it inspires me, but on the other hand, if it sounds like someone shit in their cereal(and i will not even name them, because chances are, they know who they are), it repels me. but the cats who really influence me are all the local kids, no matter were local may be, who go put on a 30min. to an hour sets for 2 drink tickets(and sometimes not even that), yet they still come back every week reppin even harder and longer. keep on truckin ya'll...you know who you are.
Sounds Like
a little bit every artist that ever influenced me....and i DEFINATELY DO NOT sound like eminem.
all i've ever had to keep my head above is hip hop. since age 12 I've been writing rhymes, producing and engineering since age 16, and opened my first production company(headtrip productions) when i was 21. basically, and MC's out there can feel me on this, you get real tired of rapping to industry instrumentals, so i looked into investing some money and time into PC based production software, cuz you can only spit to "nas is like" so many times, and anyone who had production and recording facilities in albuquerque in 1994was trying to charge an arm and a leg, and besides, at the time all you could find out here was some real gangsta shit, and i am a HIP HOP cat, so the $200 I paid for acid 2.0 was a steal. with that< I linked with this cat from gallup, NM and started "the southwest sound relikz" that worked for a while, but we eventually went different ways. we made some noise though, and i got the attention of cats in the local scene, so I started to do shows. at the time i went by the monacre of "teknique", which, due to my constant cypher activity, soon became "teknique, the freestyle freak", so dubbed by oki of mantis fist. after several years of soloism, and two years of civil service in the U.S. army, I eventually was introduced "crazy case" and "nado rock", who had been talking about starting a project with my cousin, "kaliko". and so was born "the psyche ward, which was all the cats i just mentioned plus myself, now known as "paycheck stubbz". we were soon to be known as the wu-tang of albuquerque, because there were seven of us squeezing together on tiny stages, yet we still set it off. but, all good things must come to an end...too many cheifs, not enough indians, and our freshman albbum, "scum from the gutter...volume 1" never got done. so i went soloist, featured on local cats tracks, kept making beats, and writing lyrics, and single-handedly kept "the gutterscum fam" alive and thriving. theres always more to tell, but i'll let that come to the surface as all of you, my "prospective" friends and fans get to know me, cuz I ain't going anywhere.
peace and much respect-
