BIOGRAPHY: From gutter to glory? Gutter Stars begun their trip down the glory road at the beginning of the year 2006 in Helsinki when the two founding members (Dani & Wuffe) found Jekku´s ad in the net. Jekku came to the first meeting armed with his drumsticks and a bottle of jägermeister. One thing led to another and we came out of it with a band and a bad hangover! Now all we needed was a bass player, a vocalist and a couple of beers to take the edge off. Rofa was found by an accident when Jekku phoned a wrong number. Know the saying "it takes a maniac to know one"? It seems to work on alcoholics too... Rofa joined the band soon after and we were off to find a whiskey sounding vocalist. After trying out several singers we lost all hope of ever finding one that would fit in the band until.. we came across Fasu! His original sound and punk attitude was just what we were looking for. Once the band was kickstarted, what next...? The same thing we do every night, try to take over the world.
NO PROBLEM I JUST CHECKED OUT YOR MUSIC I LIKED SPECULATION AND LET IT BURN SOUNDWISE I THINK YOU GUYS WOULD DO SOME TOTALLY ROCKING COVER VERSIONS OF DRAW THE LINE BY AEROSMITH WONT GET FOOLED AGAIN BY THE WHO HEARTBREAK STATION BY CINDERELLA AND TNT BY AC/DC.
Thanks man. I will be in Finland next weekend for a wedding in Hämeenkyrö (Tampere). But next month we'll be in Helsinki as well (16.7. and 27.7.) in between we're up north in Lappi. Mökkiaika! Löylyä, makkaraa ja olutta... kippis.
It seems we blamed the Wrong Dog about The Knockouts not showing up, it seems there has been a Communication Breakdown between Black Dog and the gutter stars.
The Knockouts had indeed informed that they wouldn't be able to show up, the information had just not been forwarded to us by the said Dog.
Big thanks to The Knockouts who stood us up and never showed up at Lepakkomies! We had everything arranged for them, including hotel rooms, and they couldn't even be bothered to let us know they're not going to show up??
Come on guys, how hard is it to drop a line, since you managed to log in on myspace anyway???
