Racing pretty much consumes 95% of my time. If it isn't associated with racing, I'm probably not interested. As for the other 5%, it's spread out a bit....politics, science, music, writing...you get it, right?
Music
Rock mostly, country, a very small bit of rap, blues, jazz...if I hear it and it sounds good to me, that's all that matters.
Movies
I really like psychological movies - ones that really make you think. And I like TASTEFUL comedies like Planes, Trains and Automobiles, not this bullcrap like Knocked Up you see nowadays.
Television
24 is by far my favorite TV show. Fringe, Sarah Connor Chronicles, and anything NASCAR-related is great too.
Books
I would have to say that the book I just finished, "The Christmas Sweater" by Glenn Beck, is quite possibly one of the very best stories I've ever read. I highly recommend it.
Heroes
Henry "Smokey" Yunick, Dale Earnhardt Sr., David Pearson, Junior Johnson, Cale Yarborough

About me:
My name is Guy Driggers. I got it the day I was born - among other things. I've been walking on this earth since July 10th, 1990 and I've called South Carolina my home for all 18 years of my life. I'm a die-hard NASCAR fan, as you can tell, and I design race cars as a side job (which is my only job since I'm currently unemployed. You can blame the crooks in Washington for that.)
If I had to sum up my life at this point in ten words or less, it'd sound like this: "Slow ride in a slow car in the fast lane." Why? Well, when you're my age and unemployed, it's like watching everyone else pass you on the interstate. I'm sure there's a reason for why things seem to be moving a little slow, but that doesn't mean I like it.
I'm not the most athletic - let's just be honest here, I'm not athletic, period. If we're playing football, if I don't tackle you as soon as you get the ball, I'm not going to chase you. But I will hurt you when you stop. :) What I lack in athleticism though, I make up for in creativity, ingenuity, and humor. I can take a joke. I can take more than a joke. I don't mean anybody any harm or misfortune because that ain't the way I was raised.
I'm not the kind of guy who goes out and parties till 4 am and drinks and smokes. I swear a little too often but I'm trying to fix that so the way that I act and behave reflects my faith. Yes...all you've heard has led up to my telling you that I am a Christian. My testimony is I was once lost, found, lost again, and found once more. These last 10 years of my life haven't been the kindest to me, and it took that long just to figure out that what I needed most in life was always in my life to begin with.
So that's me in a nutshell. I'm not perfect, I'm not gonna claim to be. I make mistakes. I screw up. I live, I laugh, I love, and all the little things in between. I have my opinions and whether you think I'm right, wrong, or whatever, I can respect that. If you ever want to talk, send me a message, comment, or whatever - I'm always up for a good chat. :)
Who I'd like to meet: Sim racers, motorsports graphic designers, gamers, NASCAR fans, and a girl who's a little rough around the edges but still knows how to be a lady.
As for actual people: Ben Stein, Glenn Beck, Neil Cavuto, Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, Shepard Smith, Ann Coulter, and, oh yeah, Dale Earnhardt Jr. :)
You gotta admit though...his temper lately is making him seem more and more like Kyle Busch! First he had the problem at Daytona...now this! People are giving him a hard time with the pit road problems and not performing how he could, but Gordon was getting the same abuse about not winning, but yet he handled it better! Jr is just under alot of pressure being with Hendricks and I really don't think he should be on the team! It is way to much pressure for him!
