Singer-songwriter Guy Harries (www.guyharries.com) is a modern day troubadour, weaving electronic and acoustic sound into song. Cabaret, urban soundscapes and musical influences from around the world are combined and presented in an intimate atmosphere. Guy performs with flute, voice and electronics in a wide range of unusual collaborations. As well as performing his solo projects, he is a member of the experimental band The POW Ensemble founded by prize-winning Luc Houtkamp (www.powensemble.nl) and has collaborated with the acclaimed Meira Asher (see www.bodylab.org). He also works a composer – working with contemporary ensembles in combination with multimedia and live electronics. His opera ‘Jasser’ was performed throughout Holland in 2006/07. ......
