Guy has just returned home to Houston, Texas, USA, from working in the west with Sirius Hippies Productions, editing films from SOUTH BY DUE EAST 2008 & putting together 'Guy Schwartz' Video Guide To JAMS & OPEN MICS in the Greater Metropolitan Houston Area!'. Recent feature length releases include 'Billy Joe Shaver - North Carolina','SOUTH BY DUE EAST 2006 - PERFORMANCES', the Wonderland documentary and 'BluesGuy's Rock-n-Roll House Party'.

Canadian rock-critic Jason Gross (rockcritic.com) listed Guy's Lionel Hampton Tribute as one of the top twenty music essays of 2002. A compilation of these essays in book form may be released in 2008. Guy's 1999 'how-to manual, 'Keeping The Band Together', published by Sage & Woodway Publishers, is obsolete and out of print.
