I am a singer/songwriter/saxophonist from Sacramento, CA. Yeah, “singer/songwriter” is the common descriptor for types like me, but if I wanted to adjust my title to most accurately reflect my priorities it would put the "songwriter" first. Songwriting is the heartbeat of what I do and I fully embrace NSAI's (Nashville Songwriters Association) motto of “It all begins with a song.” Music, specifically songwriting, has served to ground my life, allowed me to express myself, and provided an outlet to help me weather life’s storms and capture happy times. In many ways, it is my salvation. Sure, like most songwriters out there, I dream of finding some commercial success (anybody cousins with, say, Faith Hill?), but if my songwriting simply achieves the outlet I have described above, it will have given me more than enough. I hope that you will enjoy or in some way be moved by the songs that I have posted and that you have something in your life that likewise brings you joy and peace ;) The currently posted songs are four demos that were recorded in Sacramento with my vocals (and sax on Knocked Senseless) and studio musicians and two demos recorded in Nashville with a studio vocalist and musicians.
